Hello and Welcome to our Website

 
Bridport Youth Dance is a school of contemporary dance that runs dance classes for ages 5 - 21 years and workshops with leading teachers and choreographers from across the UK.  Led by dance teacher and choreographer Nikki Northover, Bridport Youth Dance consists of an exceptional annual production in Bridport, Dorset together with an outdoor dance education programme DANCE in the LANDscape and a thriving community outreach programme. The outdoor programme consists of The Dance Weavers films, site specific performances in rural and coastal landscapes - Choreography Geography - and workshops that connect young people to nature through dance. Alongside contemporary dance which is at the heart of BYD some classes in tap and street are also offered.
